Happy Trails Horseback Rides

Description

Happy Trails Hawaii is a hidden treasure on Oahu's fabled north shore, providing guests with horseback tours through the lush jungle forests and sun-kissed valleys surrounding Waimea Valley.

AT A GLANCE:

HIGHLIGHTS:

Founded in 1993, the company is unique in that the owners work in the business. Passionate about the land, the animals, and the unique experience that they provide, they have created an attraction that has been ranked among the top ten things to do on Oahu for the past seven years.

Tours head out 3-4 times each day, with no more than 8-10 people per group. Visitors have the option of embarking on a 1.5 hour or a 2 hour tour. The horses are well cared for and well trained, and take riders on an epic adventure with breathtaking views, fresh fruit, and an up-close-and-personal encounter with a Hawaii that most tourists don't get to see.

Horseback riding makes a wonderful family activity, and children as young as 6 are welcomed on the tours. Since it is such a popular attraction, it is recommended that reservations are made 2-3 weeks in advance, particularly during the busy season of summer and around holidays.
