Waikiki Shell

Description

Set against the stunning backdrop of Diamond Head to one side and Kapiolani Park (fronting Waikiki Beach) to the other, the Waikiki Shell is a unique outdoor concert venue offering excellent acoustics in a comfortable, spacious tropical setting.

AT A GLANCE:
Located at the end of Waikiki near the Honolulu Zoo, the Waikiki Shell is easy to access and within walking distance of most of the strip's hotels and resorts. The "shell" shape creates excellent acoustics so that regardless of where visitors are sitting, whether it's front and center or back on the spacious lawn or even down the beach the sound promises to be perfect.

The Shell features stadium chair seating for just under 2000, with additional lawn seating for 6000 and front seating for 3-500.

The Waikiki Shell is a Blaisdell Center venue, and tickets can be purchased online or at the Blaisdell box office, which is located at 777 Ward Ave in Honolulu. Upcoming events can be viewed online.

Past events have featured well-known artists including Jack Johnson, Michael Franti, SOJA, Jimmy Buffett and the Coral Reefer Band, and more.

Large bags and backpacks, outside food and drinks, and coolers are not permitted. During events, food and beverages are available for purchase on sight. Many shows sell out, so it is recommended to get tickets in advance.
