Buzz's Original Steakhouse - Kailua

Picturesquely positioned right across from the stunning Kailua Beach, with its endless white sand and turquoise ocean, Buzz's Original Steakhouse is a bustling, cozy island restaurant with heaps of charm, refreshing cocktails, and a tantalizing menu of steaks, charcoal broiled burgers, and seafood.

Buzz's has been permeating the nearby beaches with the enticing aroma of grilling steaks and seafood since its opening in 1967, and it is a popular stop-off for tourists and locals on their way to or from the beach. Located in-between Kailua and the tiny island community of Lanikai on Oahu's windward side, the restaurant has an intimate dining space, a full-service bar, and cozy (covered) outdoor seating with beach views of Kailua Beach Park.

At a Glance:
Although primarily a steakhouse, the restaurant has salads and a few vegetarian options as well. Menu favorites include the daily fresh fish special, Hot Crab Sandwich, Jack Daniels Burger, Scampi Salad, Alaskan Crab Legs, and the Fresh Fish Burrito.

The ambiance is casual, and during the day the restaurant is packed with a mixture of beach goers (footwear is required!)  and business folks on lunch break. During the evening, the ambiance changes to trend more toward "upscale dining" rather than "beach casual," and no tank tops are permitted after 4:30pm.
