Hale A Kai, or Home by the Sea translated from Hawaiian, is nestled at the end of a quiet neighborhood cul de sac. This recently updated four bedroom, four bath home, is aptly named due to its proximity to the ocean, located just minutes away. The island-inspired decor and bright colors of this accommodation make it the perfect home base the next time youre visiting the Big Island of Hawaii.

A large driveway, able to accommodate up to four vehicles, along with pleasing tropical landscaping greet you as you pull up to your Big Island vacation rental. As you step inside, the open concept living space is vivid and inviting, with colorful island-inspired art pieces hung along the walls. The kitchen contains stainless steel appliances, including a dishwasher, and ample cabinet space that holds all of the tableware and utensils you need to prepare a proper meal. The window above the kitchen sink provides bursts of sunlight which illuminate the space, and the ceiling fan offers substantial airflow to keep you cool while youre cooking. Enjoy your meals in the cozy breakfast nook, or spread out at the massive dining room table adjacent to the living room. The bright paint colors add to the beachy ambience of the living room, with its welcoming furniture and large flatscreen TV. Sliding glass doors bridge the indoor living space with the outdoor patio, with more than enough space to gather for a BBQ and dining al fresco.

The primary bedroom comes complete with a King-size bed, access to a sizable outdoor lanai, as well as its own well-appointed ensuite bathroom with double sinks and a shower/tub combo. The second and third guest bedrooms both have plush King-size beds, as well as their own private ensuite bathrooms. The fourth bedroom is perfect for kids, containing two Twin-size beds with a bathroom nearby. All of the bedrooms are equipped with air conditioning with 4 hour timers and ceiling fans, ensuring your comfort on those balmy island nights.

Hale A Kai is stocked with beach gear for snorkeling, bodyboarding, and relaxing on the beach, including a beach cart with wheels to make carrying all of your things to the nearby beach effortless. When you return to your accommodation after a fun day in the sun, clean-up is made easy when you rinse off in the lanais outdoor shower, and throw your swimsuits and towels into the washer/dryer in the garage. Spend the evening sprawled in front of the TV, or use the homes free WiFi to send the days best photos to friends and family back home.

Hale A Kais ideal location on Kailua-Konas bustling Alii Drive means that youre close to dining, shopping, and people watching, but far enough away from the action to appreciate the serenity of this residential area. When youre ready to explore, walk down Alii Drive to lounge on Magic Sands Beach, a mere five minute walk from Hale A Kai. Then turn around and make your way up Alii Drive, where you have the opportunity to search out cultural wonders like Mokuaikaua Church, the first Christian Church in the state, or Hulihee Palace, where royalty once resided.

When renting this accommodation, please adhere to the following Hawaii County restrictions:
Quiet hours shall be from 9:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m., during which time the noise from the rental shall not unreasonably disturb adjacent neighbors
Sound that is audible beyond the property boundaries during non-quiet hours shall not be more excessive than would be otherwise associated with a residential area
Guest vehicles shall be parked in the designated onsite parking area
The STVR (short term vacation rental) shall not be used for commercial purposes.
