The historic town of Hilo is 28 miles north, where you can find many great shops, restaurants, and the famous twiceweekly farmers market. Enjoy the sands of Onekahakaha Beach Park, just north of Hilo, or drive 44 miles to the clothingoptional black sands of Kehena Beach.
