Much of Galena today is listed in the National Register of Historic Places. The former residence of U.S. President Ulysses S. Grant, this historic destination also offers a wide selection of outdoor activities nearby, including challenging golf courses, exciting ski resorts, family fun at Lake Galena and horseback riding through rolling hills and flower-filled valleys. Tourism is now the city's main attraction, with specialty shops, boutiques, galleries and restaurants appealing to more than a million visitors annually. WorldMark Galena features spacious studio and one-bedroom resort suites that comfortably sleep two to four guests and range from 420 to 850 square feet. The studio suite features a queen Murphy bed, while the one-bedroom suite features a private bedroom with a king bed and a queen Murphy bed in the living area. Whether you're traveling with extended family or a smaller party, you will appreciate the economy of a full kitchen or kitchenette, whirlpool tub, fireplace and washer/dryer (one-bedroom). A USD 250 security deposit per stay in addition to any remaining balance is due at the time of check-in. The security deposit will be released upon check-out and can take up to 7-14 business days to reflect in your account. If room damages occur during your stay incidental charges shall be charged to a credit card on file. Smoking is not permitted within resort buildings. However guests who smoke are permitted to do so outside in designated areas. Any violation of this policy will incur a fee. Daily housekeeping is available at an additional charge. No shows and early departures will not receive a refund. The entire balance 100% will be forfeited. Pets are not permitted. In order to accommodate rental guests at this resort it may be necessary to make a room change during a guest stay. The resort will do everything possible to avoid this unlikely event. However should the need arise to change your room you will be advised at the time of check-in. You expressly understand and agree that the resort may charge your credit card for any violation of the resorts Rules and Regulations including but not limited to violations of the smoking and pet policies and any damages to your room or the resort caused by you or your guests.
