ShortDescription Established in 1880 Hotel Belvedere is a family-run hotel that has been passed down from mother to daughter for five generations. Located on the hillside few steps away from the centre of Bellagio the hotel offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains and gorgeous Lake Como. With 60 unique beautiful rooms and suites 4 spacious apartments a well-appointed spa and pool and a refined restaurant serving the freshest local ingredients the Belvedere is a heaven of rest and relaxation. Dining Our panoramic restaurant and terrace La Terrazza offers not only excellent views of the lake but also a menu to match the splendor of the surrounding. Featuring local cheeses and produce fresh lake fish and succulent seafood our menu is an ode to the mountains and waters of the region. At breakfast time the dining room is transformed into a buffet banquet of homemade cakes and pastries fresh fruits and fine teas coffees and juices for a delicious way to start the morning. ON PROPERTY: Restaurant A bright room a table with a view of the lake an expert chef and sommelier on hand to advise on seasonal food and sensational wines. The tang of local cheeses fresh lake fish or succulent seafood replaced on the tongue by the full aromatic flavours of almond-crusted beef fillets or farmyard cockerel with mustard seeds. This is not just fabulous food. It is a love letter to the landscape to the lake and lush pastures you see before you that produced its fresh ingredients. And then there is dessert. Facilities For relaxation apart from the various garden terraces solarium and patios in the grounds one can also enjoy the elegant outdoor heated swimming pool and large Jacuzzi surrounded by magnificent views.
