For stays that qualify(14 nights or longer), traditional housekeeping is provided every 7th day. This includes refreshing the condo, exchanging bed linens, bath towels, and amenities. Housekeeping services are available between 8 AM and 4:30 PM.

A note from the owner:

When we come home to Sugar Beach #418, we feel like we are in paradise. We love being oceanfront, right on the beach where you can hear the waves, smell the sea and see firsthand the marvelous marine life. On the fourth floor, the unit is both secure and well positioned for sweeping views from Makena, Molokini Reef, the island of Kahoolawe and beyond. Sunsets are breathtaking and the night sky an explosion of constellations and shooting stars.

A typical day begins with a cup of Kona coffee on the lanai watching sea turtles swimming around the reef and in winter the playful antics of humpback whales and their babies. The outrigger canoe club sends their boats out each morning and the turquoise water is dotted with yellow and red canoes. A walk along the miles of powder soft sand or snorkelling with colourful fish and turtles on the reef in front of our unit makes a wonderful start to the day. Breakfasts consist of delicious tropical fruits and home made baked items from the Farmer's Market. People come from miles around to this market, but we only have to go to the end of our beach.

Afternoons are spent swimming, boogie boarding, soaking in the hot tub or just lazing on the beach or by the pool with a good book. The location of our resort is about as central as you can get to access other activities such as snorkel cruises, parasailing, wine tasting and fabulous shopping. There is an activity centre right on site who will make recommendations and book excursions for you.

Our unit is stocked with all of the comforts of home. We have recently renovated and really love the results. There are granite countertops and river rock and glass tiles throughout the kitchen and bathroom. The theme is Hawaiiana with lots of tropical themed and vintage Hawaii accessories to provide the real Hawaiian experience. There is even a surfboard over the bar! We love to cook so the kitchen is well appointed. We provide free wifi so you can search for a recipe or connect with home from anywhere in the condo. It can be nice to sit on the lanai with your i-pad and a cool beverage and while the time away. We also provide free long distance calling to anywhere in North America so it is easy to stay in touch with friends and family. We also have an i-pod docking station so you can bring your favourite music with you.

What we don't like about Sugar Beach #418 is having to leave. The relaxation, the fun and the memories made here are magical. It's beautiful any time of year. We get only 6-10" of rainfall a year and the weather is a pristine 80-90 degrees. There is also a peacefulness here. We don't have the mobs of tourists that so many beaches do. It is a place where you can really unwind, enjoy family and friends, and experience the beauty of nature. The turquoise water, the swaying palms, the magnificent beach and all of the resort amenities make this spot a little piece of heaven.
