The popular Hawaiian-style massage technique known as lomilomi is designed to break up tension in the body that causes backaches and other health problems. The goal of lomilomi, which means to knead in Hawaiian, is to create balance in body, mind, and spirit.

The spa has three different lomilomi packages to choose from. The Kua Lomilomi: $55 package is 25 minutes and includes an exfoliating scrub, hot towels, and a focused back massage. The Honu You package: $100 is 60 minutes and includes full-body treatment that targets the areas holding the most tension and imbalance. The Lanikai Lomilomi package $150 is 90 minutes and stimulates lymphatic circulation, as well as hydrating and renewing skin.

Directions: From Waikiki, take the H1-W to the Pali Hwy. Merge onto Pali Hwy and follow it into Kailua, where it will become Kuulei Rd. Turn left onto Aulike St, and then right onto Uluniu St. The spa will be on the left. There is metered street parking available, or a parking garage across the street.
