The picturesque Turtle Bay Resort is a perfectly manicured and landscaped paradise located on Oahu's northern most point. The Arnold Palmer Course, named after its famed architect, is the more challenging of the two world class courses on the Turtle Bay property and has often been ranked as Oahu's best public access course. Several major tournament events have been held here, including the Champions Tour, LPGA Tour, the Golf Channel's Big Break, the Hawaii State Open.
Highlights: Ranked best amongst the Oahu golf courses with lush landscaping and ocean views setting the background this course has repeatedly been chosen as a venue for the Pros, but can be enjoyed by any level of golfer.
Challenges: The course design features lots of water hazards and bunkers mid-fairway and surrounding greens.

Price Range: $185 before 12pm/ $140 12 to 2pm/$105 2 to 4pm/ $85 after 2pm.
Location: northern most point on Oahu, north of Haliewa and Kahuku
Bonuses: On-site club rentals: $55. Titleist Performance Rentals, Golf Shop, Practice and training facilities including the Turtle Bay Golf Academy, and onsite restaurant, Lei Lei's.
Many sources give rave reviews of this course, so expect a decent amount of crowds and slow play speeds. Though the yardage is not extreme, the design makes good use of Palmers technical knowledge of the game to up the challenge.
Local's Tip:
Nearby Kuilima Cove and Beach is a suggested spot for swimming before or after your game at the Palmer. It can be a great spot for the non-golfers in your party to rest and relax during your game. Any trip to Turtle Bay from other parts of Oahu can be made into a great day trip, as you pass along a 7 mile stretch of some of the best beaches in the world, including Sunset, Banzai Pipeline, and Waimea Bay.

Directions:
Off of Kamehameha Highway/HI-route 83
From Honolulu: Take the H-1 freeway to the H-2 freeway following it to the end merge with Kamehameha Highway/HI-route 83 East, follow past Haliewa, then Pupukea towns. Continue until the HI-route 83 East leaves the shoreline turning inland and loosing sight of the ocean. Look for the golf course on your left and eventually the entrance to Turtle Bay Resorts on Kuilima Drive. Follow the signs for the golf course.
Alternate from windward Kailua/Kaneohe take Highway 83 West up the coastline past Kahuku town, and look for Kuilima Drive entrance to Turtle Bay Resorts on your right.
