Golfers find their dream three courses in Wailea Blue (the oldest of the three), Wailea Gold and Wailea Emerald (notably recognized as one of the most female friendliest courses worldwide). The golf courses offer superb views of Lanai, Molokai, Kohoolawe and Molokini with a smattering of tropical flowers. Nearby are two public golf courses.

Further indulge the world-class spas in Wailea indoors while beholding nature’s bounty throughout the town—lava rock walls, sea turtles and tropical gardens to name a few. Wailea is walkable and you’ll find many restaurants at a leisurely distance from your Wailea condo. The of cuisines is excellent, as is the budget range. In addition, if you visit in June, attend the annual Maui Film Festival and the Taste of Wailea, where you’ll be treated to Hawaiian regional cuisine.

The Shops at Wailea offer one stop for taking in a day of indulgent shopping, from local to luxury. Stroll through the art galleries or sip coffee or eat ice cream and people watch in the courtyard surrounded by tropical flowers on a sunny day. Have lunch or dinner and enjoy the light entertainment—Hawaiian music on slack key guitar and hula dancers under the stars.

Nearby Kihei is where you’ll find a grocery store to purchase items for meals you make in your Wailea beachfront condo for nights in or for fun picnics at the beach. Wailea has a general store at the Shops at Wailea for basic items.

Getting Around

Wailea is a fun town for walking, but for convenience and to take day trips, a rental car is a good idea.
