The location of this property was great as it was very quiet and close to the water, however it was also close to the road. Traffic noise was not too bad though considering how busy it was during the day.
Loved the outdoor shower! Lots of balcony space was great too.
Internet access was a little spotty, which wasn't a concern for me, but one of our party was working on a school assignment and had a little trouble at times.
Our main reason for being there was for the Xterra World Trail Championship - and this was a perfect location as it was only a couple of K from the start finish and so we had no worries about getting to the race. Also a good location to set off from to see the rest of the Island.

The customer service was great. If we had a problem we could call the 24hr number and get a real person who was very helpful (thank-you Misty). The unit was close to many attractions that we enjoyed- atving on the ranch, Polynesian cultural center, Hunamea(?) Bay was awesome especially for us beginners. And the beach across from the house was loaded with beautiful coral. My advise to someone staying at the rental is that - remember, this is Hawaii. If you're expecting granite counter tops, crispy sheets and meticulously clean - stay at a Waikiki Hotel. We so appreciated being able to use this house - with all the richness of a Hawaiian home we felt welcomed - the kids loved the grounds (finding lizards and just being able to run around). We will definitely use this rental again. Mahalo - from a very satisfied family in Seattle

This unit beautifully met the needs of our family of 6...comfy beds, attractive decor...nice size...incredible view of the mountains from the jacuzzi bath...offered supplies for family games and equipment for all ages. We appreciated the warm welcome of fresh flowers, nuts, etc. The neighbors were quite nice too. The best part of this unit is it's location- the view of both the lush mountains on one side and the serene ocean on the other. You do need to cross the "highway" to get to the beach but it's not very busy. Probably the only tip I'd give to visitors would be to not panic when you view the front unit of the shared address...look quickly to the "B" unit, just off the highway- much nicer. Also, we came in May and found the unit to be a bit hot (no air-conditioning), needing to have the windows open at nite, which also let in the car lights and sounds...for those of you who are light sleepers. This unit was a good value for the price. Thank you.
