Makana's Place is a one bedroom, one bath home in quaint Kailua Town. This Non-Smoking home is very spacious over 1400 square feet living quarters, which is equivalent to a Three bedroom home. Beautifully decorated with well quality furniture (Koa). Makana's Place features a full kitchen plus an extra queen sofabed and single bed. Wonderful for children with fenced in back yard for a safe play area. The beach, yes the beach. It is about a 5 minute drive away or 15 minute walk. It has been rated the #1 beach in "best beaches" survey. Most people come to Kailua for Kailua and Lanikai Beach. Starting from $175.00 per night. 50% down to hold a reservation. Balance due 60 days before check-in $300.00 security deposit. $125.00 cleaning fee. 4% processing fee. Holiday and peak season rates and required length of stay may be different than quoted above. Credit cards, cash, checks and wire transfers accepted. Minimum night stay varies amongst the various rental units. Many rentals have 30-night minimums.

The rental was absolutely beautiful and well furnished. The only reason I rated it a 4 out of 5 is because the rental does not have a stove which for us was a much during the holiday season. The owner was gracious enough to allow us to use hers.

Nice owner and clean environment. The owner bought a nice fruit basket as a welcome gift. The restaurant recommendations in the tour aid book are excellent. The room is equipment with everything you need should you need to cook or bar-b-que. It is not far from nice beaches!
