Our rented unit was very spacious, comfortable, and convenient. The pictures do no do the unit justice. I highly recommend this.
The best part of my trip was doing a night manta ray dive with Kona Diving Company. Their service and knowledge was great. We saw 21 mantas. Even the snorkelers had close encounters.

J23 was a wonderful place to spend our time on the Big Island. It had everything and was at a great location. If we return (I mean when) we would definitly try to return to J23. Julia was an EXCELLENT source for anything that we needed, she went above and beyond for all of your needs and questions. We did a lot of meals in the condo and the kitchen was well stocked with quality everything!! On this trip I was surprised to find that the market on Mauni Launi were very close in price to other markets in town and way more convenient!!
If I had only one suggestion it would be a map of the resort, even a cartoonish one would be great.
THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING!!

A wonderful rental house - we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and have no reservations to make except (being Brits! we would have liked a kettle to boil water for tea-making! Club beach especially liked!

What we liked best about the unit we rented was the beautiful, quiet location, and it's luxurious interior. It was by far the nicest accommodation we have stayed in on the big island so far. The customer service was great and provided good communication and information as needed. The best part of our trip was kayaking with the dolphins in Kealakekua Bay. The best restaurant we found was Monstera Sushi and Noodles at the Mauna Lani shops. The best picture we took has yet to be decided because we haven't looked at all of them yet, but probably the dolphin that almost touched my arm in the bay. I can't wait to tell all of my friends that the big island is the best. My advice to someone else staying in this unit would be to make sure the sliding glass door is shut ALL THE WAY or the AC will not work. The part of my trip I would definitely recommend to others is Adventures in Paradise and the various tours they provide, they are the best. The best "insider tip" I received while on my trip was to stay a healthy distance from the dolphins and the sea turtles. Many people did not respect this and I hope the wildlife will not suffer. I didn't have time on this trip, but next time I'm looking forward to seeing Green Sand Beach and going to Hilo.

This was a perfect home away from home for our family. The unit was immaculate and completely outfitted. I believe the only thing we could find missing at all was a hair dryer. The rooms were spacious, well appointed and the bed in the upstairs master suite was so comfortable we were checking to see if we can match it at home. The patio and grill provided a delightful venue for dinners. Having a full laundry made the stay even easier. Access to the beach club was perfect for us although, post-tsunami, there were multiple cabanas without cushions. It is almost embarrassing to mention, given the catastrophic suffering taking place in Japan. At first we wondered about the proximity to the Shops at Mauna Lani but it turned out to be another positive. Good coffee, well stocked shelves, good prepared foods and excellent restaurants. We ate at Tommy Bahamas once and Monstera twice. The responsiveness of the rental agents was perfect. Always available, polite and responsive, they are a great advertisement for the company. All in all, the was one of the most pleasant places in which we have ever stayed and it went a long way towards making it such a delightful vacation. The only suggestion would be....put the house on the beach at the same rental price. Oh well, you can't have everything. Thank you from our family. We will probably ask for the same unit again next year.

We enjoyed our second stay in this villa. Two things to change for the future: 1) There was not sufficient toilet paper in the unit. 2) the kitchen needs to have a "juicer" of some sort--a hand-press version would be fine so that limes can be juiced easily.

Lovely, clean, well stocked condominium. Very quiet and private, yet near many wonderful beaches. We made good use of the barbeque and deck to dine and watch the sunset. We would certainly love to stay at Mauna Lani again, should we return to the big island.

The golf villas were great, especially for a family group such as ours. The service we received from all was timely and efficient. The unit was very well equipped and it really felt like home. We spent a lot of time on the beach with our grandsons as it was perfect for "little ones". The only thing I missed was a view of the sunset-it would have been nice to be able to see them.

The unit was large enuf for the 6 of us, it was clean and modern and very comfortable, and the owners were very reasonable when discussing the crazy refrigerator. NOTE: It broke completely down the day before we left, then was up & running OK the morning we departed. We went to beaches mostly, but the one day spent at the beautiful & new pool was excellent. The best restaurant we went to was BY FAR, Bamboo in Hawi. I took my family all arounf the Island to see everything possible and they all thoroughly enjoyed it. There were no problems whatsoever. The RockSlide house was the perfect house for our 11 family members. We each had our own room and bath and plenty of personal space. The pictures do not do the house justice. It is both gorgeous and completely comfortable at the same time. We were pleasantly surprised that the fridges (there's 5!) were stocked with water, beer and sodas, along with the wine fridge having some wine left from former guests. The pantry also had everything we needed to complete our dinners with the staples purchased at Costco and the beautiful new Island Foodland at the shops nearby. We all enjoyed the fact that you could either take the car or one of the three golf carts down to the Beach Club or the market. How easy! The kids were in the pool from morning til night and we loved our bbq dinners out on the lanai. We took advantage of the fire pit and the tiki torches and the amazing clear nights with the sky full of stars. Absolutely the best vacation we have taken. Mahalo to the owners for opening their home for others to enjoy. The Shaw/Kirschke/Nesbitt and Buba Clan

The house was a paradise for two families during spring break. Kids loved the pool and riding to the beach in the golf cart.

We had an age range from 1 to 85 and everyone loved Roc Slide! The older folks loved the quiet and comfort of the house, the middle folks loved the slide and pool and the little one loved exploring (with attendees at hand). The media room was a big hit with the young men and the kitchen spoiled us all with upgrade appliances and every convenience.
