Waikoloa Beach Villas O-22 - Tlhe unit was fantastic. Very well maintained and comfortable. Kim was great and made sure we had everything we needed. We tried several restaurants Roy's, Susen(sp) located in Queen's Shopping Center, Marketplace Cafe, and the Stone Ice Cream. All were great and had great prices. I would not hesitate to recommend the Beach Villas or the area. The location allowed us to tour the whole North area of the island including Hilo. Aloha until the next time although our next visit will probably be Maui.
Waikoloa Beach Villas D-1 - We loved the house we rented. My family of four and my brother's family of four were so pleased to have a beautiful place to stay where we could spread out and enjoy each other's company. It would have cost more to stay in hotel rooms and we wouldn't have had near the space we had here. Our house was wonderfully decorated and well supplied with more than we expected...snorkel and other beach equipment, well supplied kitchen, bathrooms and bedrooms. We drove to the volcano one day and in doing so, found that our drive was shorter than expected, and it made for a wonderful day trip. We left early (about 7:15 a.m.). It took us 2 hours and 15 minutes. The highest speed limit on the island is 55. We traveled between 45 and 55 mph the whole way, but the drive was so pretty that the time seemed to fly by. After driving the crater and walking the 4 mile hike (with a baby in tow), we also went to the Thurston Lava Tube then drive about 45 minutes to see where the lava flows into the ocean. It was a spectacular view, especially at night. My boys enjoyed swimming with the dolphins and we had a wonderful dinner at KPC on the water. We all agreed the Royal Kona Resorts' luau was even better than the show at the Polynesian Cultural Center. The food was great, and the show was very entertaining. My boys were pleased with the short walk to the beach and I also enjoyed the pool right outside our sliding glass door. The customer service was above average. My brother spoke with to the manager about purchasing a unit, and found we may have paid more than average for the place...that would be my insider information. My mother, sister and I took a self-guided Kona coffee tour that we all really enjoyed and the boys took a great deep sea fishing trip. We took a morning and drove to Akaka Falls, which was nice, but we enjoyed getting the shaved ice there even more...make sure you get ice cream on the bottom. All in all, we prefer the big island to Oahu. We'd come back in a heartbeat. We have a few other places to visit first, but expect to come back with even more of the family next time. We will hit the southern end of the island then and maybe come back when the surfing is beter.
Waikoloa Beach Villas K-2 - The best thing I liked about the unit was the location. It was close to everything we did while on our trip. Also, loved the fact that in the garage was the beach chairs, snorkel gear, and boogie boards...that was unexpected, but came in very handy because we did not need to rent that gear! Great customer service.
We'll be back!
Waikoloa Beach Villas L-23 - - The unit was superior, beautifully decorated, all of the amenties (except we could find ironing board/iron) spacious and comfortable. The garage was a plus as well.
- Philippa was super helpful - much appreciated.
- Hapuna Beach was fantastic and just a short drive away.
- Queen's Market Place was super handy and had a great sushi restaurant.
Halii Kai 13H - The view from our unit 13H was like a post card! The pool and club facilities were world class = to many of the 4/5 Star Hotels we have stayed at. Three couples shared this very nicely appointed 3 bedroom Condo - would have liked the 3rd bathoom but we have been friends for over 25 years so things worked out fine. Everything else in the condo was great - very new, modern place - we would rent it AGAIN. We are all golfers so I would have to say the best part of our trip was the 3 rounds of golf we played in 5 days. By far the course we enjoyed the most was the Waikola Ocean Course! We had a great music filled night at the "casual" Huggo's on the beach. We also had two up scale nights at the Farimont on the beach(about 2 or 3 miles on the coast to the North of us), words can not descirbe the beauty of this complex - the food and service were "excellent"+ very nice live easy listening music. Last but not least we were given VIP treatment and many good tips on were to eat etc. from Phillipa - she was GREAT and we want to thank her in print! :) THANKS "Phillipa.

Waikoloa Beach Villas F-32 - This unit is immaculate kept and very well equipped with all we needed.
Waikoloa Beach Villas D-23 - Overall, the accomodation was very good but there were cockroaches in the kitchen, bathrooms and bedrooms. I would recommend for you to fumigate the condo. Also, I would very much like to be able to park in the garage because I did not have a parking space to park, so I parked in one of the reserved space and in the morning there was a note on my windshield to ask me not to park there. I also think that it is a good idea that we should get the refund for the down payment as quickly as possible because it is not fair that we paid upfront and not get it back for 1 month.
mahalo
Hali'i Kai at Waikoloa 14H - The unit was done beautifully and set up great. The only recommendation is to put some wind block on the one side of the lani so it's more comfortable sitting out there. It was very windy every day so it was a little rough to sit out. Other than that, it was great. We enjoyed going south to look at turtles sitting right on the beach. It was the beach just past South Point. The beach at the Marriott was also nice. Snorkeling at Cook's monument was great as well. I did not enjoy the volcano as much becuase there is no lava flowing but the trip out there was fun. Best restaurant was Hoi Bakery on the way to Hilo.
Waikoloa Beach Villas J-33 - The condo was well equipped and luxurious. There was enough room for everyone and whatever was missing was supplied promptly. The only disappointment was having no safe use of the barbecue, but otherwise fantastic. The gym needs free weights!
