About Hana Villas
Our Hana luxury rentals provide everything you need for the ultimate in luxury and relaxation on your Maui vacation. Located on the eastern tip of Maui, Hana's lush, tropical vegetation and picturesque beaches make it the quintessential Hawaii paradise.

Things To Do
About ten miles past Hana town is the lower area of Haleakala National Park with great hiking and waterfalls as well and a nice stream for swimming. The Pipiwai Trail leads through a bamboo forest to Waimoku Falls tumbling 400 feet down the mountain.

Few Hawaii coastlines are as picturesque as the rugged shoreline of Waianapanapa State Park just to the east of Hana town where you can see clear, blue waters amidst arches of lava and coastal caves. Other Hana area attractions include historic churches and botanical gardens. In Kipahulu you can see the gravesite of famed aviator Charles Lindbergh who was the first person to fly across the Atlantic Ocean. You can view ancient Hawaiian artifacts and learn about this region's first inhabitants at the Hana Cultural Center and Museum.

Eat and Shop
Stock up on supplies at the Hasegawa General Store, a local landmark. The Hana Ranch Restaurant serves up Polynesian-inspired ranch food in the casual atmosphere of Hana's Town Center. Order from their take-out window and take your meal to the beach to enjoy the Hana day.

Also keep an eye out for roadside stands selling everything from fish to fruits and vegetables as well as pork lau lau for fundraisers. These stands are often the best way to sample some of the region's finest products and their peak of freshness.

For fine cuisine try Travaasa Hana, formerly the Hotel Hana-Maui, which serves up true culinary artistry with an emphasis on using local ingredients in creative ways. Try the Pohole Fern Shoot Salad, and the melt-in-your-mouth fresh local fish wrapped in Ti leaves.

Getting Around
A rental car is recommended when staying in Hana luxury rentals so you can explore the region's amazing beaches and waterfalls from Kipahulu to Waianapanapa and beyond
