Things To Do
Snorkeling at Kapalua Beach is a favorite activity as there are many interesting fish and other marine life to see in this area. Also keep an eye out for humpback whales offshore during the winter months. When it comes to golf you have two great choices: The Kapalua Plantation Course, and the Bay Course.
The Kapalua and nearby
Kaanapali resort areas offer an abundance of activities from scuba diving to sunset dinner cruises. Whale watching is popular during the winter months when the humpbacks arrive from northern waters.
Eat and Shop
You will find some interesting boutique shops at the Kapalua Resort hotels and also many great places to eat including award-winning restaurants.Groceries and souvenirs can be found at Honolua Store which also has a deli and espresso bar in a historic plantation setting.
Other Kapalua Resort shops include the Kapalua Tennis Garden Pro Shop, Hutton's and La Perle jewelry stores, and the Plantation and Bay Golf shops at the resort's two golf courses. The Logo Shop in the Kapalua Village Center sells exclusive fashion labels as well as island-inspired gifts.
Kapalua Resort dining offers three great choices including the farm-to-table menu of Hawaii Regional Cuisine at Merriman's Kapalua. The restaurant also has outstanding sunset views from the dining room and outdoor lanai. More fine food artistry can be found at the Pineapple Grill overlooking the Bay Course, while the Plantation House serves up Mediterranean-inspired Hawaiian cuisine and signature mai tais overlooking the Plantation golf course.
Getting Around
A rental car is recommended when staying in Kapalua vacation rentals so you can explore the region's many great beaches and attractions from the resort areas of
