- We arrived after 9pm from a few days stay on Lanai in a tiny cottage with no amenities or air conditioning. Walking through the door that first evening I felt like I had died and gone to heaven! High end finishes galore, surprises around every corner, switches to play with...it was worth every penny. The builders of the room did a great job of utilizing space, my only critique is some of the walkways and bathrooms are a little narrow, so you get to do a shuffle as someone else walks through. We had a great view of the ocean, west Maui and even Lanai from our room. Perfect location to head to the shopping spots and great beaches for sunning and snorkeling. A trip down to the main pool is a must as it sits right along the beach...the other pools are smaller. I would definitely stay here again and recommend bunking with a small group to help with the cost if the nightly rate is steep for a single couple...there was plenty of room and space to have 4 people stay comfortably.
