Things to Do
Mokulua Nui and Mokuluas Iki are visible offshore, twin islands that are protected seabird sanctuaries. Lanikai Beach does not offer the amenities of an on-site lifeguard, public parking, restrooms, or showers; however, those staying in Lanikai will find the beach no more than five minutes away (street parking is available along Mokulua Drive). Kayaking, canoeing, sailing, swimming, snorkeling surfing, windsurfing, and of course, sunbathing, all make for a pleasant day at the beach. Families often enjoy the beach because the waters are calm, perfect for children and those who like wading in the water.Eat and Shop
Our Lanikai rentals are part of Kailua town, which offers a myriad of cuisines, plus two Thursday Farmers' Markets. Kailua is also home to plenty of grocery stores and local boutiques. Windward Mall is less than 20 minutes away and is accessible via TheBus. Getting Around
