KaMilo 215 is the Makani model home and was constructed with top-of-the-line upgrades and a lush tropical feel. The interiors feature exotic hardwood floors, emerald granite counter tops, Tommy Bahama furnishings and colorful artwork. The Makani floorplan is a 2-story, 3 bedroom and 3 bathroom, single-family home that offers 2,400 sq. ft. of interior living space & 500 sq. ft. of private outdoor living space. The home has a balcony with a built-in gas BBQ for upstairs entertaining and a ground level lanai with a grassy yard and private pool (unheated) and spa. The upper level features an open floor plan, indoor and outdoor dining options and a guest bedroom with a queen size bed. The en suite master bedroom is located downstairs and has a king size bed and sliding doors that open to the pool deck and private yard. An additional guest bedroom, also located downstairs has a queen & full size bed. There are flat screen TV's in all bedrooms and a media/family room downstairs with a large flat screen TV. Vaulted ceilings, plantation shutters and lots of green vegetation lend a laid-back island vibe to this tranquil home. Amenities include central air conditioning, ceiling fans for natural ventilation, spacious covered lanai, fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, washer and dryer with detergent provided, WIFI at no charge, iron and ironing board and hair dryer. KaMilo is comprised of single-family & paired homes on the Mauna Lani Resort and offers the best of both worlds with private vacation homes where you can relax and unwind, plus a community recreation center that will exceed your expectations. All guests who stay at KaMilo at Mauna Lani will have access to use the communal facilities which includes an adults-only lap pool, a state-of-the-art private gym, an adults-only hot plunge and shower facilities. There is a second, larger family pool with a shallow end for small children, a hot tub and a large pavilion area with community gas BBQ's (reserved with the Resident Manager for outdoor cookouts). As a guest staying in the Mauna Lani Resort, you will also have access to use the following facilities on the resort: the Mauna Lani Beach Club (including chairs), Mauna Lani Spa, Mauna Lani Sports & Fitness Club, Mauna Lani Tennis Shop and the Mauna Lani Golf Club (North & South Golf Course). Access fees to use these facilities are due at point of sale. On-site check-in office is open daily from 9:00am - 5:00pm for guests who need assistance, have questions or would like recommendations for activities, beaches, restaurants, services, etc. We are also available after-hours to assist in case of a property-related emergency. KaMilo at Mauna Lani is still under development and a rental of a unit (depending on location), may be subject to intermittent construction nearby in the future. South Kohala Management does not have access to the expected completion schedule for these projects nor can we guarantee that a unit will not be impacted by noise from future projects. However, please feel free to contact one of our Reservation Agents for a status update of possible construction nearby to a specific unit.
