New air conditioning has been added in all bedrooms for total guest comfort. Situated in the quiet, rural Hawaiian Paradise Park neighborhood, the home beautifully accommodates six guests. Please NOTE the base rate is for 2 guests, additional guest fee of $25/night applies.

Hilo Shangrilas airy, inviting living room and well-equipped kitchen feature soaring ceilings and a wall of glass doors to maximize ocean views and indoor-outdoor living. The home also boasts a dining space for six in full view of the ocean, an office space and additional sitting area, and a laundry area.

The luxurious master bedroom at Hilo Shangrila offers more vaulted ceilings, a queen-size bed, a walk-in closet, and an en suite bath with a spacious walk-in shower. The welcoming guest bedroom also has high ceilings and a queen-size bed, as well as its own full bath just steps away, with a large tub and shower.

The saltwater swimming pool, gently heated for a comfortable temperature year-round, has a breathtaking view of the brilliant blue Pacific. Its surrounding lanai provides the opportunity to soak up the warm Hawaiian sun or lounge in the shade. A covered hot tub is the perfect setting for enjoying cooler evenings, and a gas barbecue grill creates another option for meals at home.

This Puna-area home on the Big Islands east side allows easy access to attractions such as black-sand Kehena Beach, renowned surfing at Isaac Hale Beach Park, and the Na Ala Hele hiking trail. In nearby Pahoa town, guests will find excellent seafood, Italian, Mexican and Filipino restaurants, along with a 50's-style coffee shop and a natural foods market. At the farmers markets, take advantage of the opportunity to sample unusual local fruits (like passion fruit, star fruit, lychee, mango, and papaya); feast on a homemade crepe with bananas, chocolate and cream; try some homemade Thai noodles or salads; find a unique, hand-crafted piece from a Big Island artist; enjoy a soothing professional massage; or experience authentic Hawaiian music. QUIET HOURS:

Quiet hours shall be from 9:00 pm to 8:00 am, during which time the noise from the STVR shall not unreasonably disturb adjacent neighbors. Sound that is audible beyond the property boundaries during non-quiet hours shall not be more excessive than would be otherwise associated with a residential area.

PARKING:

Guest vehicles shall be parked in the designated onsite parking area. Please be respectful of the neighbors and do not block driveways, sidewalks or mailboxes.
