Kona Private Home Rental Description

Tax ID# TA-001-670-5536-01.

This spacious private three bedroom two and a quarter bath home offers lots of wide-open spaces and million dollar ocean views for your tropical get away.

The single family home is located right above the Kona Village at about a 700 foot elevation, which offers wonderful ocean views of the Kona Coast as well as cooler night mountain breezes. There is a reason many Kona residents live in this area!

The master suite offers not only spacious living areas and private bath but also ocean views from your bed.

There is no pool or spa (there is a jetted tub) at this home. The nightly rate is reflective of this. This is a wonderful private alternative to oceanfront.

Near town yet far enough away to give the true flavor of Hawaii. Conveniently located close to downtown Kailua Kona. Explore downtown historic Kailua Kona. The town of Kailua Kona "hides" some very important Hawaii Island historic spots. Both the Hulihee Palace and the Mokuaikaua Church are located on Alii Drive. King Kamehameha I spent his last years living near the current site of the King Kamehameha's Kona Beach Hotel until his passing in 1819. The Ahuena Heiau, located on the grounds of the hotel, is a reconstructed temple rebuilt by Kamehameha himself and is on the register of National Historic Landmarks.

Watch the people and the cruise ships come and go from the Kailua Kona Pier, with access to Hawaiis best scuba diving, big-game fishing, kayaking, dolphin and whale watching. Visit the famous Farmer's Market. Enjoy a shave ice or a cup of Kona coffee, have a light snack or a gourmet meal, buy an inexpensive souvenir or a piece of fine art, book an activity, go for a swim or hang out at the beach. The pier is the starting and finishing point of the Ironman World Championship (October) and a great place to watch the sunset. Everything you need and want is readily available in the heart of the quaint Kailua Kona town.

Holoholo is conveniently located, a great home base to explore the many wonders of the Big Island of Hawaii including the Volcano National Park, Mauna Kea Observatory, coffee and macadamia nut farms, artist communities, and more!
