The setting is just stunning! Enter the back gate, and the first view looking through the glass door, across the entry area, and beyond the patio is of the ocean framed by palm trees, and the sandy beaches of Paia, Baldwin and Spreckelsville. The property is fenced and lined with vegetation on both sides to provide great privacy. It sits at the end of a little laneway, WALKING distance to all of the shops and restaurants in Paia. Sitting between the house and the ocean is a 50 foot lap pool and a hot-tub. NOTE: The ocean is rocky in front of the house, and therefore NO ocean access from the property..
All rooms with the exception of the play room and the 4th bedroom face directly to the ocean!
The ground level has a master suite facing out to the ocean, with a large bathroom (shower). There is a very well equipped kitchen, large living area, and of course, views from all rooms. The ground level has polished concrete floors.
The second level has three bedrooms with king, king, queen bed (two face to the ocean) and a playroom (2 twin beds). There are two full bathrooms on the upper level.

Fall 2019: The property next door received their building permit in August 2019 to do a major remodel. Anticipated start date is sometime during fall 2019. We want our guests to be aware that there will likely be construction noise from the property next door. If you're active and out playing all day, this might not be an issue for you.

We are delighted that you are considering this property for your vacation lodging. We are sure that you would enjoy this lovely vacation home.

This property has a vacation rental permit issued by the County of Maui, and is subject to the rules and restrictions imposed by the County for all short term rental homes. Please understand that we would be unable to accept a rental that does not agree to abide by these rules. Note: properties without a short term rental permit are subject to closure by the County.

1. Neighbors - Please be considerate of our neighbors. Noise carries easily to their homes, particularly in the evening. NO loud music, NO parties, NO amplified sound of any nature at any time. Many neighbors must be up early in the morning to go to work, and its important that your use of this property does not impact them in any way.

2. Quiet Hours - Quiet time is from 9pm to 8am.

3. Use of the Property - Additional friends/family CANNOT be invited to the property and it cannot be used as a meeting place. The property can be used ONLY by the guests listed on the rental agreement. The County law allows us to accommodate a maximum of two guests x the number of bedrooms.

4. Parking - There is plenty of parking on the property. Vehicles CANNOT be parked on the street at any time. When vehicles are on the street, there is insufficient space for emergency vehicles, fire trucks, the trash truck or neighbors to get down the road.

5. Minimum of 1 guest must meet the minimum age requirement of 25.

At the time of booking, we'll forward the property rental agreement for review and acceptance.

$1,000 - $1,500 per night. 30% down to hold a reservation. Balance due 75 days before check-in. $1,000.00 security deposit. $743.73 cleaning fee. 4% processing fee. Listed rates do not include tax. Holiday and peak season rates and required length of stay may be different than quoted above. Credit cards, cash, checks and wire transfers accepted.   • The best insider tip was to attend the Maui Swap Meet in Kahalui on Saturday morning from 5:30am (I think) to noon. A great farmer's market as well as clothing, etc. at fantastic prices. We completely enjoyed the swimming pool - it was a great boon for the grandchildren. The view from the lanai (and master bedroom) is awesome, and I don't use that word often. A couple of suggestions: some paper products in the house would be welcome (toilet paper, kleenix, enough garbage bags for the week, paper towels, etc., Also the dishwashing soap was in great chuncks, we managed to break it up, but.... The house is beautiful and wonderfully equipped, we had a wonderful time. I would recommend it to any of my friends. Mahalo and Aloha

  • Home was excellent and we would rent again. Please note that we ended rental on a sour note with a discussion with the cleaning service. I had arranged a late checkout (2pm) and the cleaning service showed up at noon. Knowing that I had requested the late checkout, I informed the service that we were scheduled to leave in about 2 hours. I said if they wanted to start, that was okay with us. After about an hour, the supervisorr appeared on site and advised that we needed to vacate at once to allow the cleaning people room to work. I doubt that you want the cleaning service to have this type of impact on your customers. It did not spoil what was otherwise a great week. Sincerely, Rob DeMartini
