There are very nice beach front resorts, such as the iconic Grand Wailea Resort, and some very nice privately owned residences. In most cases, you'll need to choose between the two options. Fortunately, you've just found the best of both! We've combined all of the services and amenities of the fabulous Grand Wailea Resort with a professionally designed and spacious three bedroom OCEAN VIEW home.

Akela at Ho'olei is perfectly situated in the middle of Ho'olei, a gated, private community of three bedroom, two level town homes in Wailea, Maui. The location affords fabulous ocean views across Wailea beach towards Lanai and West Maui. Easily walk to the Ho'olei pool and recreation area or across the street to the Grand Wailea Resort. Even better, a quick phone call to our Grand Wailea staff members will quickly summon a vehicle to pick you up at your front door and drive you to either the lower or upper entrance of the Grand Wailea Resort, which you may enjoy the pools, water slides, spa, restaurants. When you are ready, our staff will take you back to Akela. The transportation service is included in your nightly rate!

Akela has been professionally designed with furnishings sourced from the finest makers around the world and wall colors that have been custom blended to this design pallet to enrich the senses, Akela is by far one of the best residences in Hoolei. Open the large Fleetwood sliding glass doors and turn on the fans as you enjoy the over- sized, well equipped lanai while watching the sunset over the ocean. The large granite table is perfect for enjoying an outdoor barbeque meal, prepared by you on your Wolf grill, complete with rotisserie and a small Sub-Zero refrigerator.

Theres a one-car garage with an additional parking space just steps from the garage. From the garage entrance you may go directly to the elevator to load your groceries and luggage. This ultimate convenience is perfect for those who may have trouble with stairs. The laundry room includes a full sized Whirlpool washer and dryer, so you may pack light and avoid those pesky airline baggage charges! Dont worry about renting beach gear, as weve got you covered with umbrellas, boogie boards, beach chairs, towels, bags and coolers.

Each of the three bedrooms includes a flat panel television and en-suite bath. Thick carpeting, dual glazed Fleetwood sliding glass doors and extra insulation ensure a peaceful nights sleep. The master bedroom is actually larger than most hotel suites and included a comfortable seating area, deluxe king sized bed with custom bedding, a serene lanai with lounge chairs to enjoy the ocean views. The master bath suite include dual vanities, a deep soaking tub and separate shower area and large walk-in closet.

The professionally equipped kitchen will take your breath away. Weve thought of everything, from the waffle iron to the wok, you will have what you need to create a fabulous meal. Top of the line appliances including two Sub-Zero refrigerators and a gas range surrounded by beautiful granite counter tops and Snaidero cabinetry will inspire you to create the perfect meal. Dont feel like cooking and want to stay home? No problem our concierge staff will arrange a personal chef to do the shopping and prepare your gourmet meal in the privacy of your Maui villa. If you'd like, well also do the grocery shopping for you prior to your arrival.

Why You Should Consider Our Home:

Once youve decided that one of the homes at Hoolei would be the perfect venue for your vacation, you need to decide which of the Hoolei residences are for you. First and foremost, please be advised (that unlike at a resort), all Hoolei residences are NOT the same. These are not hotel rooms created equally. Each of these properties are individually owned and the owners have the final choice on how the interiors are designed and furnished. Some of the homes have what we call investor standard furnishings. In an effort to make it more convenient for cost-conscious investors on the mainland, the investor selected and installed furniture that was cost effective for them. Ours was done with the goal being to create all of the feelings of a luxury residence. You will feel, smell and appreciate the difference!

Second master suite on the lower level includes a king sized bed and ensuite bathroom along with flat panel television and large walk in closet. Bedroom 3 on the upper level includes a king sized bed, walk in closet and ensuite bath.
