When youre not lounging on the black sand of Kehena Beach, youll be less than an hours drive from Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, 15 minutes from the geothermal oceanside lagoon at Ahalanui Park, and 10 miles southwest of fantastic snorkeling at the Kapoho Tide Pools. Youll also be seven miles northeast of Kalapana and a few minutes drive from lava hiking trails and local restaurants. The town of Hilo, where youll find a variety of shopping, dining, and entertainment options, is only 33 miles north.
