This Maui Banyan rental was fantastic! The unit was extremely up-to-date and had an excellent kitchen, three large screen TVs, and the beds were great! But most of all, the unit had a wonderful lanai, which overlooks the ocean. Even though the unit is close to the road, you don't hear the noise in the condo. The gardens around the entire premise are very beautiful and the location in a great place on Maui. The beach across the street is small but one of the best we have visited. It is not crowded and a beautiful site! The BBQ grills are the cleanest on the planet -- great for grilling. The rental process was very smooth -- and the owner is great. The best part of the trip was the road to Hana -- the worst part, the road to Hana. It is a wonderful exotic place and I'll never forget that drive -- but it IS worth it. A sunrise over the volcano, a sunset cruise, zip lining (we were crazy to do it as adults (at least this dad thought so -- but the kids and my wife loved doing it), and so much more. This family from Iowa loved the entire trip and the accommodations!

Our newly remodeled tropical retreat in one of the newest vacation condos in Kihei, the Maui Banyan, features beautiful bamboo floors in the living area and both bedrooms, new kitchen with granite counters, stainless steel appliances, travertine marble flooring in the kitchen and bathrooms, 50" flat screen TV in living room, and large flat screens in each bedroom, Nintendo Wii, and triple-wide lanai (patio)! Contemporary island-style furnishings and artwork. This unit is one of the closest to the beach and is in a very private location. It also has a nice partially enclosed garden area off the patio (very kid-friendly) with gas BBQ.
The Maui Banyan is located in the most desirable part of sunny South Kihei, and is just across the street from gorgeous Kamaole 2 Beach, a sandy swimming beach. There are many other great sandy swimming beaches within 1 mile, as well, and several are also in walking distance. There is a great selection of restaurants and shops within walking distance. The Wailea Resort area, with many high-end resort hotels like the Four Seasons, starts less than 1 mile away. The Maui Banyan complex has 2 pool/spa recreation areas, lots of gas BBQs, complimentary tennis (we provide rackets), and lots of parking, both covered or uncovered.

Starting from $189.00 per night. 50% down to hold a reservation. Balance due 60 days before check-in. $150.00 cleaning fee. 4% processing fee. Listed rates do not include tax. Minimum night stay varies amongst the various rental units. Many rentals have 30-night minimums.

I liked having a full kitchen and a washer and dryer. The location was great! We loved Big Beach. We enjoyed dining at Sansei and Fred's which are very close. We saw whales watching the sunset at the beach right across the street.
