We just returned home from 2 weeks at the Lahaina Baby Beach Hale on Front Street property and we miss it already. The house was perfect for our family's needs. The location was premium and as close to the beach as they said! our 4 year old twins loved going to the beach every day and the house was close enough to wander home for lunch. We also took advantage of the Nanny Connection to babysit so we could sample some fantastic restaurants in town, David Pauls, the Lahaina Grill and I'O were all top notch in food and service. As for the whale watching, it was the best show we've seen! we took 3 separate tours to whale watch over the 2 weeks and our best experience was on the Hula Girl Catamaran, with the whales swimming and playing all around us.(and under us!) When we ran out of propane one night BBQ'ing, someone came by the next morning and made sure we had a new tank for the rest of our holiday. Thank you! The weather was sunny and beautiful everyday too. We lucked out. We hope to stay again next year for our holiday, Greg,Kathy from Saskatoon, Canada. ps. The only thing i would recommend is to spend some $ and buy a decent couch in the living room. It really is not suitable for relaxing and watching TV, as it is not very comfortable :)

We are glad that you found the distance to Baby Beach exactly as what is listed in our site. Nothing beats spending wintertime in Maui, and no one knows that better than the humpbacks that return to our warm Hawaiian waters every year. We are glad that you took the time to not only enjoy the property, but the area as well. Our Front Street location is indeed the best in Lahaina where shopping, dining, and both ocean and land activities are within a short walking distance. We are very pleased that you are considering staying with us again next holiday season. Obviously, you enjoy barbecuing and outdoor meals in the lanai. We try to encourage our other guests to do the same but with the choices of world-class restaurants in Lahaina, we understand the irresistible temptation to dine out every night. We probably would not have ran out of propane in the house but with the gas shortage throughout all the islands, we simply could not stock more than the ration we were given us by the county. But yes, our team understands that every moment in your vacation counts and are aware that sharing activities with your loved ones, even something as simple as barbecuing in the lanai, are what truly unforgettable memories are made of. That is why we had to find a way and we are glad that we succeeded in making your stay unforgettable. We simply could not ignore the fact that enjoying a barbecue in the middle of January is a privilege that we, who live in Hawaii, are lucky enough to enjoy throughout the year; thus, we don't miss a beat when it comes to sharing our favorite pastimes with our island guests. Please be assured that we take all your comments seriously. As for the sofa, it is an original Balinese piece that the decorator chose for the Villa. But we all agree that we cannot sacrifice comfort for looks, therefore I have personally shared your views with the owner so we can make the necessary improvements to ensure your comfort upon your return, as well as that of all our future guests. Overall, it seems that you thoroughly enjoyed your stay and did not let inconveniences that could be easily resolved ruin your vacation.
