Call Kauai "home" for a bit at this resort-inspired, 2-bedroom, 2.5 -bath villa vacation rental in Princeville/Hanalei. At this standalone property, you don't have to share walls with anyone and views range from lush tropical landscaping to the green peaks of Bali Hai (aka Makana Mountain).

Ideally situated near both Princeville and Hanalei, you can easily sample fine dining and food trucks, quiet beaches and quirky boutiques. The Princeville Shopping Center is just a 5-minute drive away; the village of Hanalei just 10 minutes. If you don't mind a steep hike down to the shore, the gorgeous Hideaway Beach is about 10 minutes away on foot. Or drive 15 minutes to the wide, sandy, life guarded Waioli Beach Park in Hanalei, among other beaches nearby this Kauai villa rental.

Inside, a contemporary-coastal design creates a breezy welcome for honeymooners, friend trips, and other getaways of up to 4 people.

Both bedrooms have adult-sized beds, with one Cal King master bedroom suite and one queen-size guest bedroom. The master suite bath includes a tub/shower combo. A second full bath, just down the hall from the guest bedroom, has a shower only. An additional half bath on the second floor provides extra convenience.

Sip the day's first coffee on the lanai with a dining table for 4 and views of Bali Hai in the distance. The downstairs patio with a porch swing presents another private place to breathe in the tropical landscaping before starting your day.

Gather in a sunny breakfast nook to fuel for the day. Prep (and cleanup!) is easy in the full, modern kitchen with a dishwasher. Then pack up the provided beach gear, including bear chairs and boogie boards, for a day at the beachyou have your pick of several within just a few miles! Or strap on your hiking shoes and explore nearby Hanalei National Wildlife Refuge. For a more low-key experience, bring your camera to Kailuea Lighthouse to capture unbelievable vistas and a variety of native birds.

Once you've soaked in all of Kauai's beauty, grab dinner ingredients at the Princeville Shopping Center and return to your relaxing home base. (A designated parking spot means no searching for parking!) Sear burgers and veggies on the lanai's charcoal grill, uncork a bottle of wine, and kick back for sunset.
