When some restaurants say farm to table, they mean they do their best to find local farmers to buy their produce from. At Pacific'O they have their own signature farm providing menu ingredients in the freshest way possible. Inspired dishes created by Executive Chef Antoine Haines can take imaginative turns and the farm can begin growing ingredients that follow his lead. The menu has sections highlighting from the land and from the sea selections, as well as garden favorites. Inquire about the daily highlights with your server.
The full menu is available for dinners, and an abridged version for lunch. A full drinks menu from fine wines to mixed drinks is available at either service time. The restaurant has half its' seating inside, including a bar, and the other half outside on a lanai adjacent to restaurant and the beach. A meal stop here is memorable for either lunch or dinner, with the dinner service being the most popular with reservations recommended.
Staff's Pics:
The Big Island grass fed chopped sirloin was exquisite tender beef, well flavored with a red wine reduction, and served atop a medley of "O'o Farms" vegetables and Big Island mushrooms. The Ahi was also superb, with a great fresh local catch served up seared in an espresso-shitake mushroom "rub" warmed in a dashi broth with truffle accent.
