Welcome to Beachside Villa, recently built custom 4BR, 4 bath island style home just one house (100 steps) or a 60 second stroll down the private beach access to the sands of our world famous Kailua Beach. The spacious main level provides a wonderful setting for both relaxing retreats and long over-due gatherings. The decor is Indonesian inspired with comfortable luxurious furnishings. The kitchen is large and open overlooking the family room. Any chef will feel at home with the top-of-the-line appliances and ample work space. There are three living areas. One is adjacent to the kitchen overlooking the pool. A second more private living area is located on the ground level with a garden view. The third living area is located upstairs off the bedroom suites. Beachside Villa offers plenty of space for quiet conversation or a group activity.
The second level consists of the four bedrooms and the additional living area. The upstairs living area offers also a queen sofa sleeper couch as additional sleeping area for two. The distinct Master Suite offers a King size bed, single day bed, full bath and lanai with ocean views. The second bedroom is equipped with a Queen size bed, trundle bed, full bath and partial ocean views. The third and fourth bedrooms each have queen beds. Central air conditioning runs through the entire home.

The home was very nice and customer service was great. The house was clean we were very satisfied with the home. I would book it again and it was great for the whole family. It was close to the beach and stores had a nice gas grill for barbq's. The only negative thing was that the hot tub didn't heat up. It was a great location with plenty of things to do.

The Beachside Villa was a beautiful spacous house with many nice amenities. Jennie Gratz was very helpful in helping us find this place and make arrangements. The place was very clean and neat when we arrived. Kepola was very helpful with the arrival arranges for us and answered a few questions we had before arrival. Shawn was there when we arrived and showed us around the house. We only had one small problem with the pool remote and Shawn came right over and got it straightened out. We really enjoyed this house. Its so close to the beach, it came with beach chairs and other beach gear including towels. The kitchen is so nice and stocked with some basics including lots of spices. The house had lots of spaces to gather and its was perfect for our extended family. We would definitely rent this place again and recommend it to friends.

Definitely 5 star house. Beautiful tiled bottom pool with great spa. This was the second time for our family renting this house. Rental agents very responsive and helpful. Perfect location with just steps to Kailua beach. Because this was our second visit to the home we noticed the home shows some worn but still almost as good as our first visit. Exceptional home. Steps from a great boogie boarding beach. Our family enjoyed the gourmet kitchen and upscale design of the home. We loved the wood and tile flooring and open house layout. The booking agents were friendly, helpful, and warm. This luxury home is close to Honolulu and the Polynesian Cultural Center (we loved this). We are planning a return visit!!! Mahalo!

Very nice house. Great location, just a few steps from the best beach we've ever been too. Pool/spa really nice, but small. Pool fence great amenity with kids. Walking distance from town. Clean and mostly updated. Overall, we really enjoyed the house and the trip. I would recommend the house with a couple of caveats. But, overall, we really enjoyed the house and the trip. A few negatives to be aware of. The sliding patio door to the pool would not lock/unlock without a significant amount of jimmying and effort. I cut my finger trying to unlock it the first time. The dead bolt and catch were rotted by the sea air. Was such a hassle, we just gave up. The rental agent's assistant didn't really make an effort to fix, just told us to work with it. The normal agent for the house was on vacation, so someone else let us in. The downstairs TV seems to have a very old cable TV system. Was very hard to figure out and we basically gave up trying to watch TV. DVD (Netflix)/TV upstairs and downstairs were fine. Balcony furniture very strange shape and not comfortable to sit in. There were 4 boogie boards in the garage but two were cracked and unusable. The third has no strap, the fourth has torn off side linings. Beach (camp style chairs) were usable, but very worn, some torn, and rusty. While the house is very nice, I do think it was over-priced by $200-300. Colin, our booking agent, was very helpful in getting everything taken care of. I'm 50/50 whether we would consider this house again. If the above issues were addressed, and the price was a little lower, would be more interested.

Beach chairs and boogie boards were replaced. Door has been adjusted. The TV system is brand new and a simple push of the TV Icon button on the remote is all that's needed to turn on the TV, and receiver. I'm guessing she did not understand it when the check in person who met her at the home went over it with them. If they had notified us we would of been more then happy to assist them. The upstairs furniture on lanai is solid teak and had just been refinished. That's a first that we've had someone complain it was not comfortable and seems to be a personal preference.
The Beachside Villa is just great. We had our grandkids (1-5 years) plus 5 adults and the house was perfect. The place is open, very well furnished, very well equipped for Hawaii. The pool was a super bonus. We cannot say too much about the layout and attention to detail in the house itself. Check in/out was a breeze. Overall, we were all very impressed and will be back for another stay.

The Beachside Villa is a perfect retreat for families. We celebrated an anniversary with kids and grandkids and everyone had a fun and relaxing time. The home offers many options for young and old. We cooked most of our meals there in the wonderful gourmet kitchen. The quality of property maintenance is evident, adding to our enjoyment. As well, the surrounding community of Kailua is warm and inviting. Hard to beat as a preferred option to large resort hotels.

This was an absolutely fantastic home to experience. We had our children 7 adults and two small children. The house is perfectly situated to enjoy the ocean then retreat to the pool, let the kids take a nap and then do it all over again. The kitchen is a dream!!! we were able to cook together and eat meals as a family. It was exactly what I had hoped for. The furnishings are beautiful. My wife usually has comments on the various homes and condo's we rent. She repeatedly said she could move right in and not change a thing. Loved the location and layout of the Beachside Villa! Perfect for two families. Loved the pool and jacuzzi, too. If I could change anything, I would upgrade the BBQ. The front burners were out and the baffles on the back were broken. We would also have preferred a bit softer mattress. Both master mattresses were rock hard. The pool remote was also a bit challenging to work with. These were just minor things. Overall, a great vacation home.

This is a beautiful 4 bedroom house, just a short drive from town, and just steps from the beach, we stayed 7 days and had a great time, the kitchen is well outfitted, and the beach chairs/towels/kids play toys were a nice addition, the hot tub warms up quickly, and the pool is nice, sun worshipping is best done at the beach since the pool/tub take up most of the yard, the property manager was terrific in settling us in, and I'd have no problem renting again

Perfect Hawaii Vacation! We had an incredible family vacation at your lovely home. The house is exactly as the pictures show. Very private and comfortable but close to shopping, the beach, everything you need. Beautifully decorated and clean. The ocean view from the lanai upstairs is spectacular. The beach down is down a small path right out the front of the house. We will definitely come back again.

The Beachside Villa was beautiful, well maintained and supplied. We were within 100 feet of the ocean. Everything but food was there: plenty of towels, dishes, water toys etc. It was great to have two washers and dryers. The pool was smaller then it looked in the ad but quite adequate. The hot tub was great. We had trouble with the sliding door and the rental management handled it immediately. The house was clean and well maintained. We were very satisfied with the rental and would recommend it to our friends. Besides enjoying the house, pool, beach and ocean, we would like others to be sure to see Pearl Harbor, the Polynesian Cultural Center and Hilo Hatties for goodies to take home.

This was a gorgeous house, in an absolutely amazing location. We didn't want to leave. The photos on the site were descriptive, and the house was even better than it looked on the site. We were really looking for a nice place, as close to the beach as possible, that had a nice design sense. This was definitely the place. The pool was great to have as well, as with the kids, and the beach being a bit windy (this is the 'windward' side of Oahu) we couldn't spend all day every day on the beach. Between the beach, relaxing in the house and swimming in the pool, we got exactly what we were looking for. And, Kailua was a great, non-touristy spot with a small downtown, and Whole Foods within a 5 minute drive. We would definitely rent again. The service was very friendly and professional, and made the stay that much more pleasant. The house was very clean when we checked in, and we were very comfortable our entire stay. The only thing I could even think of that could have been better would have been better kitchen accoutrements (pots, pans, dishes, etc were ) to accompany the gorgeous Viking kitchen, but this is a tiny nitpick - we were able to cook great meals here, and that was part of our goal, and part of what we wanted to do on our vacation (relax, cook, eat and go to the beach). Thanks so much for an amazing week - I'm already trying to figure out how we can come back again next year.

The home is beautiful and nicely situated, although it is not beachfront and the only view of the ocean is from a window in the master bath. It is actually a 4 bedroom 3 1/2 bath as there are 3 baths upstairs and a half downstairs with an outdoor open shower that is not accessible from the outside only from the bathroom. Overall cleanliness was ok, but was probably not rented recently as there were quite a few dust bunnies floating around and found a cigarette butt on the floor in the t.v. room. The Jacuzzi did not work and they came to fix it the next day, worked while he was there and then when we tried to start it again later, it did not work again. In all fairness we were leaving the next day, so we did not bother to call him again as it was after 9 when we tried to use it. Other than those minor things it was a lovely place to stay.

This house is beautiful, and does have a great view from the master bedroom as well. It is not listed as an oceanfront home. The 4th is a full bathroom, as is stated by the guest, has a sink, toilet and a shower. Although the shower is outside it is still part of this 4th bathroom and again, as stated by the guest, is only accessible through the 4th bathroom. This guest was given a late check-in of 6:30pm but did not show up until 8:30pm. We are thankful for our loyal Guest Services staff members who were willing to stay late and although we did not charge the guest for a late check-in we do still have to pay our staff for the extra hours. They took the time to demonstrate the use of the Jacuzzi, which is operated by a rather sophisticated wireless remote. The guest confirmed that they were able to operate the Jacuzzi before guest services left that evening. The Jacuzzi repairman found nothing to fix, so as it was working fine, we must assume that the guest could not operate the remote. We have had a meeting with our cleaning staff as well as guest services to assure that in the future the home is well cleaned and ready for the guest prior to check in. We do go out of our way to give personal service, meeting them late at night and also allowed a late check out with no extra charge and meeting them then as well. Taking the time to familiarize them with the home and it's amenities. I don't know what more we could have done short of showing up to operate the Jacuzzi ourselves. I'd say we went out of our way to make them happy.
It was a great house to stay in. Everything was perfect and ready when we arrived. From booking the house, to finding it ready to go, being able to ask questions (not that we had many) to check out - everything was great. Thanks!

I spent many hours trying to pick the perfect place for a long overdue family vacation. I succeeded beyond my wildest expectations!! (No, I'm not really that conceited...it is just a compliment and tribute to this wonderful place in Kailua, on Ohahu's windward shore.). There are so many things to write about, but I will start with the people, because they are the ones who made this so perfect. Lori and Peter, the immediate property managers, were fantastic...every request was met with an immediate response (and there weren't many requests because virtually everything you could possibly want was already "in place" and waiting for us.) We were also lucky enough to meet Kia'aina who is the manager of a number of great properties. He, too, was wonderful to deal with, and the whole management team of Lori, Peter and Kia'aina are the kind of people who you consider to be really good friends, even though you just met them a few days ago. And then there was the house...WOW! Just look at the pictures on the website. These will give you a clue, but you won't really know how wonderful it is until you get there and actually see the place! The kitchen is truly "to die for" with all top line Viking appliances, and everything you need in the way of dishes, utensils, cook ware, dish towels, dishwasher soap, an outdoor propane grill, and even basic condiments (salt, pepper, spices, vinegar, oil, you name it) are provided for you. We did most of our meals in the kitchen and on the grill...7 of us, and we loved it. The rest of the house is equally wonderful. Master bedroom and bath are total luxury, and the bed sleeps like something out of your best ever dream! But wait...then there are the fabulous hot tub and swimming pool. All electronically controlled (you do it with a TV-style remote control) like nothing you--or I--have ever seen before! Oh, and just a few other things...the absolutely beautiful and lush landscaping surrounding the house (which also provides total privacy), and the fact that it is truly only 100 steps from the house to one of the most beautiful and perfect beaches in Hawai'i...think of it---in less than one minute, you've gone from the indoor corner of paradise to the outdoor corner!! Aloha The Unit was perfect, the location was excellent, the beach just seconds away from the house, pool, hot tub. The unit was large enough for four couples, big enough and spacious that we all had our own special space. The greeting with Lori and Pete, and the service taken care of with in an hour, was excellent. Beautiful people. The four couples didn't want to leave this area, and the villa. We wished that we would have booked for longer, but, we had a money budget. We just loved our time their. And the Catholic Church just at the end of the street, walking distance. And the welcome we recieved their was perfect. The best thing about my trip was everything. Lori suggested Buzz's restaurant, it was excellent, friendly staff, no reservation they accomadated us, with in 1/2 hr. We took many pictures of the villa, and the beach. Standing on the beach and looking at the scenery, foilage mountains was breath taking. I would rent this villa again anytime. I will share this part of the Island and villa with anyone who asks me. And I will tell my friends. We were told by Lori to go to the Polynesian Culture Center, and Dole Plantation. We were not disapointed. We just were getting use to going, and discovering different little hide aways. If God willing maybe, we will be able to cross paths again. I will send this also to the other couples. The location, the views, the furniture, the kitchen and convenience were the best parts of the unit.. I loved how it was so open. The customer service was EXCELLENT answered all calls, friendly and helpful. The best part of the trip was having a pool and being with family. We did not eat out the kitchen was excellent! The best picture was on Flat Island after we snorkeled to it. I can't wait to tell my friends how beautiful Hawaii is and how great it is to rent a house on the beach there. My advice to someone else staying at this unit would be is to rent it! The part of my trip I would definitely recommend to others is that you can relax but get up to see the beautiful sunrise on the ocean. I didn't have time this trip, but next trip I'm looking forward to kayaking to Mokulua Islands and hiking up Diamondhead. My only single suggestion for the unit would be to get a better coffee pot that includes a thermos and buy some bigger mugs but the rest of the dinnerware was beautiful. I would definitely rent there again!!!

The house was beautiful, well-designed, well-organized and perfect for relaxing. It's well decorated and appointed - and the distance to the beach truly is just 100 steps. Neighborhood is quiet - but close enough to shops, restaurants, and stores to enjoy activity when you wanted to. The beach is not crowded, fairly private and beautiful. The management company responded very quickly to the only issue we had - and this was a mechanical issue with the pool caused by the previous renters. The management company took care of it very quickly - within 24 hours. The house is fully stocked - especially the kitchen. We enjoyed our visit immensely and would highly recommend this rental! The only improvement I could recommend is having the owners add some additional beach towels to the linen closet. We ran out of beach towels every couple of days. Otherwise, perfect. Aloha!

Air Conditioner works fine. Had to show guest how to use properly and not to keep changing the settings when turning it on. Please give it some time to start up without playing with the controls. Home was not advertised as having a heated pool only a heated jacuzzi.
