Makana's Place

  • We were extremely surprized at the grandeur of the place. The pictures on the email do not do justice to the place. We really felt as if we were in our own house with no interference from the landlords. The great part was the availability of towels etc. There was no view of course but it also gave us a feeling of living like an Hawiain Thanks again.

  • Our stay at Koa Lagoon couldn't have been more pleasant. It is very central to everywhere we wanted to go and everything we wanted to do. The facility was very well taken care of and provided us every comfort we expected. Arrival was flawless. This was an excellent experience. Beautiful location.

  • Very comfortable, quiet and easy to find. Conveniently close to Honolulu. Just a short 20 minute ride over the Pali Hwy. The Kauliua area beaches are quite beautiful. We live on Kauai and would very much like to rent Makana's Place again for our Oahu excursions.

Wailea Elua Village - 2BR Condo Partial Ocean View #2106

  • Very dusty and old furnishings. Smelled musty. The drapes were sheer and provided no sunshine protection for sleeping in. Desperately needs some TLC. Be prepared for 3 flights of stairs and a brisk 10 minute walk to the beach and its all uphill on the way back.

Hale Lanui - 4BR Home + Private Pool + Private Hot Tub

  • This house was perfect for what we wanted -- a real FAMILY vacation! There was lots to do nearby and everyone had lots of fun. The house was so well supplied, we enjoyed cooking and using the pool (and laundry!). There was plenty of room for the 12 of us to be there without being on top of each other. It was a great time for our family and I'm sure you'll see us again some time! Thanks again for the hospitality!

  • Cleaning of the stove and the sink could have been better. Some caked on grime on and around both. After purchasing cleaning materials, I cleaned them to my satisfaction. Everything else in the unit was excellent. We loved everything about the place. Would go back to the Koa Lagoon and 102 in a heart beat. Linda was fantastic; when the televison died, the first day we were there, she ran out and bought another one and had it installed before we returned back from town. Wonderful place and wonderful management. Would recommend Koa Lagoon to all my friends and family. Thank you for a wonderful time!!!

  • This beautiful home was ideal for a family vacation! Very comfortable and lots of room (there were 10 of us - 6 adults, one teenager, a 4 yr old and two toddlers). The home was well equipped for cooking and laundry, and the pool was handy, especially for the children. We loved whale watching and dining on the balcony, and it was wonderful to have the beach and snorkeling just a few steps away from the house! We loved every minute of our stay! Mahalo

Honu Lani - 3BR Home Poipu

  • Great house, with excellent proximity to the ocean. Likes included the pool, was EXCELLENT. Dislikes included leaving any food or water out for even a few minutes attracted a ton of little ants/bugs and for a 4 million dollar house in hawaii to not have air conditioning is kind of a deterent from wanting to stay there again. October was humid and we could have really used some a/c! Other than that, was very clean and enjoyed it!

  • We had a lovely time here, only comments are it would have been useful to have had the use of a hairdryer - my wife ended up buying one but then promptly forgot it when we went to Waikiki, and the only other comment is that the decor perhaps could be updated/renewed but this did not affect our enjoyment and happiness here and would be more than happy to recommend it to others.   • Hale Ma'ana Hou was a dream home! My fiance and I went to Kauai for our wedding and wanted the our immediate families to stay together for the week. We had both sets of parents, two siblings, a brother-in-law and a friend stay with us at the wonderful house! It was a great time! Big enough so we weren't all on top of eachother but small enough that we felt like we had a lot of time together! We loved the pool and snorkeling right out the back gate! Amazing views, privacy and ocean breezes! If I was to go back to Kauai (and I definitely will!) with a big group I would definitely pick Hale Ma'ana Hou again! Well worth the price!

  • From the moment we arrived we vowed to return to Hawaii and make the Pililani Main House our vacation destination. The Pililani Main House is truly a magnificent vacation home. The private pool, tennis court, sauna, hot tub, and beautiful, lush grounds surounding the house create a true island paradise.

  • What a wonderful place!!! They really know how to treat their guests and provide all the comforts of home. It would be nice if they had a ceiling fan in the living room, as we found it rather hot, but the cross breezes do help a bit. We would highly recommend this place as a comfortable, beautiful, and welcoming vacation destination.
